Getting Ready

We started to rearrange our upstairs of our shop yesterday to make way for the vinyl printer.  We are so pumped about this printer!  On Thursday, myself and a staff member went to a workshop on the vinyl printer.  It is totally amazing to see what this printer can do.  I will be able to print on so many mediums which will open up so much to the business.  If I really wanted to, I could even do vehicle wraps!!!  Maybe I'll give it a try on my own vehicle!

So today is the moving of our laser machines.  We have 2 machines - one has a table size of 36"x24" and the other has a table size of 16"x12".  We can laser on so many materials - drinkware, leather, wood, metal, plastic, acrylic, ceramic, marble, granite, stainless steel - it's really quite amazing what the machine can do.  The only thing it can't do, which people ask quite regularly, is cut out objects from metal.  I can cut through plastic, acrylic and wood to make custom shapes for customers, but not glass, metal, granite, etc.  The best thing, I think, about the laser is that it can make namebadges in any shape or size, so it can cut around a customer's logo.  It just makes a customer's namebadge stand out from the crowd.  We even laser people's names on to bibles that people have brought in.

If you know anyone who needs some custom lasering, please send them our way!
